- Collect and analyze operational data and trends to improve manufacturing performance.
- Ensure consistent monitoring and early detection of process issues.
- Collaborate with maintenance leadership to plan and schedule system maintenance using reliability models and predictive tools.
- Partner with technology and finance teams to manage site costs.
- Plan and monitor production shutdowns while ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance requirements.
- Work with capital engineers to evaluate projects and identify cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
- Oversee third-party personnel, ensuring safety and skill development.
- Collaborate with other departments to recommend best practices and strategies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, escalating only highly complex issues.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles.
- At least 4 years of related work experience.
- Lean Certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Strong project management skills.
- Data analysis and continuous improvement experience.
- Familiarity with PI (data historian), MS Project, Seeq, and Minitab.
- Experience with wet/dry corn milling, ethanol production, or corn sweeteners production.
