About the role
As a Senior Manufacturing Operations Technician, you’ll apply your mechanical and/or electrical aptitude to perform systems integration, interpret engineering drawings, notify personnel of configuration changes, and maintain manufacturing work instructions in electronic systems. This role involves preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and serving as a subject matter expert for circuit card assembly.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.
- Notify appropriate personnel of changes needed to the engineering configuration database.
- Maintain and revise manufacturing work instructions in electronic instruction and reporting systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Roosevelt Manufacturing Center circuit card assembly.
- Apply advanced technologies such as AI, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics to solve customer missions.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (minimum 1 year).
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities.
- Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Experience
- Experience with surface mount placement machine operation, programming, and troubleshooting (Fuji preferred).
- Experience with solder paste screen printing, including operations, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of solder paste inspection and automated optical inspection, including equipment theory and programming.
- Ability to use a bill of material, drawings, and component data-sheets to optimize processes.
- Experience creating process documentation and implementing process changes for operators.
Pay
Target salary range: USD $26.37/Hr. - USD $28.28/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range based on experience and geographic location.
