Responsibilities

  • Own manufacturing engineering for chassis fabrication: the processes turning steel into module frames at takt.
  • Develop process plans: routings, work instructions, fixtures, and cycle times for weld-heavy fabrication.
  • Launch new lines and product revisions: PFMEAs, capability runs, and ramp curves you own.
  • Drive yield and cost: scrap, rework, and cycle time attacked with data weekly.

Requirements

  • You’ve been the manufacturing engineer for heavy fabrication or weldment production.
  • You’ve launched fabrication lines or major process changes to rate.
  • You write work instructions operators actually use.
  • You run PFMEAs that predict the real failures.
  • You’ve cut cycle time on a process everyone said was optimized.

Preferred Skills

  • Welding process depth.
  • Fixture design.
  • Tekla or CAD fluency.
  • Takt-based production systems.

Pay

Compensation Range: $169K - $193K
