Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Maintenance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management for up to 7 direct reports
Drive manufacturing performance through process optimization, equipment reliability improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support production operations by ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintenance strategies, and technical problem resolution
Lead new product launches, capital projects, equipment installations, and production readiness activities
Monitor and analyze KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, uptime, and maintenance performance, implementing corrective actions as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing standards, preventive maintenance programs, and operational excellence
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, safety standards, and audit expectations while supporting employee training and development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- 5-7+ years of manufacturing and/or maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
- Previous supervisory experience leading engineers, technicians, or maintenance personnel, with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, PLCs/HMIs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive operational and business results through cross-functional collaboration
