About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support process development and production execution for electromechanical capital equipment in a regulated environment. This is a highly execution-focused role—ideal for someone who thrives on the manufacturing floor, enjoys solving real-time problems, and is passionate about building scalable, high-quality processes. You'll play a critical role in bridging engineering and production, ensuring manufacturing runs efficiently while continuously improving processes and output.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, travelers, traceability records)
- Lead and update PFMEAs to ensure robust and scalable processes
- Design and optimize workflows across assembly, test, and packaging
- Act as a key liaison between engineering and production, supporting operators in real time
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement root cause and corrective actions (RCA/CAPA)
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Support NPI builds and transition products into full-scale manufacturing
- Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure production readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering (medical device or regulated industry preferred)
- Experience creating work instructions, PFMEAs, and manufacturing documentation
- Hands-on experience supporting assembly, test, and/or packaging processes
- Exposure to electromechanical systems or capital equipment
- Familiarity with GMP or regulated environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action
