About the role
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality standards and production targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and manufacturing methods.
- Conduct process evaluations and make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of material science and its impact on manufacturing processes.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on statistical analysis.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software.
