Charlotte, NC – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week.

Contract duration: 12+ months.

Test management tool and test case writing experience.
Full testing life‑cycle experience.
Ability to obtain requirements (typically JIRA), write test plans, create test cases, execute them manually, and report results.
Defect triage experience.
Testing interaction of multiple applications.
Web services (API) testing.
Basic SQL querying and database experience.
Familiarity with Octane (test planning) – a plus.
JIRA for defect reporting – a plus.
Execute automated tests and identify automation candidates.

Support several integration engines and perform end‑to‑end integration testing to ensure the frontend UI connects appropriately to backend systems.
Focus on ordering and billing‑type testing, e.g., ensuring the customer‑facing web portal flows correctly to back‑end billing systems.
Utilize Octane for test management planning, including writing test cases and tracking.
Manage defects using JIRA.
Work with an in‑house Java/Selenium automation framework.
Gather requirements, write test plans and test cases, execute manual tests, and report findings.
Understand system interactions to triage defects and pinpoint root causes.
Test multiple applications and their integrations.
