REMOTE in SF Bay Area; Portland, OR; Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA, or Kansas City Metro
This person must be capable of owning and operating a modern web platform end to end — understanding how the site is built, deployed, and maintained, including front-end code, deployment pipelines, headless CMS architecture, and web server configuration. SEO and GEO strategy are a critical part of the role but secondary to technical platform ownership.
Essential Functions
Own the development, performance, and reliability of the Responsive marketing website, built on Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and a headless CMS (Prismic)
Maintain and evolve the CMS architecture — content models, page types, and component library — so marketing and content teams can move quickly without developer bottlenecks
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for site incidents, own the deployment governance process including GitHub PR approvals for high-risk changes, Vercel configuration, firewall and DNS oversight, and one-click rollback procedures
Drive ongoing performance optimization: Core Web Vitals, page speed, lazy loading, caching, and mobile-first standards across key pages
Lead front-end development on high-priority initiatives including new product and solution pages, conversion experiments, and campaign landing pages
Maintain AI readiness of the site: structured content, markdown support, schema implementation, and technical foundations that enable LLMs to accurately parse and surface Responsive content
Drive SEO & GEO Strategy and Execution
Lead keyword strategy and content optimization across our core commercial query set — RFP, proposal, DDQ, SRM software, and adjacent AI-driven categories
Drive on-page and off-page SEO improvements across product, solution, comparison, and blog pages, with clear prioritization and weekly progress against targets
Own our AI search strategy: structured data, schema markup, llms.txt, FAQ optimization, and citation rate improvement across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other LLM-driven surfaces
Work with SEO content and AI visibility vendors to operationalize monitoring and reporting, moving from reactive snapshots to proactive action
Own Web Analytics and Tracking Integrity
Maintain the integrity of our web analytics stack: GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console
Ensure all changes to shared tracking infrastructure follow a documented review and sign-off process with affected stakeholders before execution
Build and maintain a clear performance dashboard connecting organic visibility to pipeline, and translate data into actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Partner with the content team and SEO vendors on content production, page refreshes, and keyword cluster expansion
Coordinate with paid media and ABM teams to ensure tracking continuity and shared attribution
Work with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements, CMS updates, and schema changes
Support the PLG/Flywheel launch by integrating SEO and conversion optimization into key user flows
Elevate Team Output
Set a high standard for analytical rigor — trendline analysis and GSC exports, not screenshots
Provide day-to-day direction and quality feedback to the team
Model strong cross-functional communication: proactive stakeholder updates and coordination before execution on changes that affect shared systems

Expert-level command of web analytics and tracking infrastructure: GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console, including the ability to build, audit, and maintain tracking — not just read reports
