Senior Manager, Terminals

About the role

Nutrien is a leading provider of crop inputs and services, guided by the purpose of Feeding the Future. The Senior Manager, Terminals reports to the Senior Director, Terminals & Capital.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for safe and reliable operations of multiple North American Distribution terminals
• Support and engage in Nutrien’s new port development opportunity
• Oversee existing deepwater terminals and budget preparation
• Lead a team of terminal supervisors and operators
• Provide oversight of contracted services and rail operations
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met and costs are managed
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for supply and customer service
• Implement improvements in equipment, processes, and safety
• Develop and manage capital projects and plans
• Support other projects as needed

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent operations background
• 10+ years of operations experience with supervisory roles
• Experience with large-scale construction and capital projects
• Port facility operations experience
• Contracted services and rail operations oversight experience
• Experience with safety, process safety management, and risk management programs
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong time management and organizational skills
• Travel requirement of 40% to 60%

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role in Deerfield, IL is between $133,700 - $209,990. Nutrien provides an attractive benefits package including comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, disability coverage, and retirement savings.
