About the Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Technical Program Management (Infrastructure) leads AI Platforms initiatives related to Search Relevance, Machine Learning Infrastructure, and Search Knowledge Infrastructure. This role partners with engineering and product teams to advance data-driven decision-making and improve AI-powered search and recommendation systems. The position is critical in aligning technical projects with strategic goals, influencing technical direction, and ensuring successful delivery of impactful AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape and influence technical project direction to meet stakeholder needs while maintaining quality standards.
• Rapidly prototype and validate project ideas through iterative development.
• Balance broad, outcome-driven thinking with attention to critical details.
• Define and secure stakeholder alignment on clear, measurable success criteria.
• Assess risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain transparent communication to keep stakeholders informed.
• Present outcomes and updates clearly to senior leadership, including trade-offs and risks.

Requirements

• 13+ years in technical program management, including at least 8 years leading and mentoring TPM teams.
• Experience in search relevance, natural language search, and recommendation systems; familiarity with GenAI/LLM technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and drive initiatives to completion.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work with teams operating at different paces.
• Strong business judgment, analytical skills, and influence.
• Experience with machine learning models, feature development, model testing, and resource management.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and incremental delivery.
• Quick learner of new technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
