About the role
The Senior Manager - Technical Program Management will lead complex technical projects across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, coordinating resources and stakeholders to meet project milestones.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and status updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in a technical program management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technical projects.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in relevant fields, such as software engineering, systems architecture, or IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in technical program management.
- Experience with project risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in technical program management.
