Senior Manager, Technical Accounting

Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid – 3–4 days per week in the Reston office)

Position Overview

The Technical Accounting Senior Manager will report to senior accounting leadership and serve as a key resource for complex accounting matters across the organization. This individual will lead technical accounting research, prepare accounting position papers, evaluate complex transactions, support SEC reporting, and provide accounting guidance to business and corporate stakeholders. The role partners closely with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Operations, Business Development, and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and draft accounting position papers.
• Evaluate and document complex transactions, including acquisitions, revenue recognition, lease accounting, and stock‑based compensation.
• Support SEC reporting and ensure compliance with public‑company accounting standards.
• Provide accounting guidance to business units and corporate stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Operations, Business Development, and external auditors.
• Interact with executive leadership and multiple corporate functions on accounting matters.

Pay

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 base plus bonus potential (depending on experience).

Schedule

Hybrid – 3–4 days per week in the Reston office.
