Senior Manager - Tax Technology and Process Transformation

About the role

The Senior Manager of Process Technology for the Global Employer Services Technology team leads execution to improve efficiency across our global technology platform (GlobalAdvantage - GA) and local processes. This role drives process transformation, automation, and core technology operations across global platforms, country processes, and individual deliverables. The role also turns ideas into outcomes by aligning business priorities with technology execution across GES teams. It requires strong program and project management, but it is not a PMO role. Success is measured by delivery, adoption, and business impact.

At Deloitte Tax LLP, our Global Employer Services (GES) Technology Group consultants help multinational clients develop programs, processes and digital offerings to manage a global workforce and the compliance obligations arising from global mobility, business travel and remote working. People within our technology group come from a diverse background - they partner with our go-to-market teams and global clients to solve challenging problems and design experiences and products that anticipate what our Deloitte clients will want and also solutions that keep them compliant with global and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leading innovation, built efforts, products, and business-as-usual support operations across Process Technology
• Owning timelines, priorities, delivery quality, and business outcomes tied to technology investments and value realization
• Oversees platform stability, enhancement planning, and continuous improvement across core tools and processes
• Applies lessons learned across platforms and markets to improve consistency and efficiency
• Driving standardization, automation, and operational reliability across global platform and country-level processes
• Promotes AI/tech capability while preparing execution-ready recommendations for US Technology Government Board, guiding transformation initiatives from idea through deployment, and supporting adoption across the business.
• Partnering with Global Technology teams, process excellence teams, and other stakeholders to evaluate feasibility and align delivery approaches

Skills

• Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs), Structured Query Language (SQL), extract, transform, load / extract, load, transform (ETL/ELT), data pipelines, automation, and enterprise integration patterns, including evaluation of architecture options and scalable solution design
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to communicate technical decisions to business leaders and manage pushback during transformation
