Senior Manager, System Operations Software

About the role

Responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of software systems used in Landing Stations and User Terminals (LEO Systems).

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new software features and updates.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices and system operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in system operations and software management.
• Proven track record of managing complex software systems and delivering successful projects.
• Experience with landing stations and user terminals systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in system monitoring tools and software development lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles.
• Experience with cloud-based systems and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay

$150,000 - $175,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
