About the role

The role demands the ability to lead leaders—coaching Process Managers and team leads, building a strong controls culture, and steering the engagement toward client and company objectives. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, proactive, and own the client relationship at a senior level while driving customer satisfaction through robust governance, best practices, process improvement, and transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery across Trade Support, Participation Servicing, Agency Servicing, and Resi Warehouse/Whole Loans work streams, ensuring SLA/KPI adherence and quality standards.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of complex corporate loans, including primary syndication settlement, secondary loan trading, portfolio administration, and team leadership.
  • Act as the primary escalation point and trusted partner for client leadership; lead governance forums and steer weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Process Managers and team leads; own capacity planning, hiring, succession planning, and performance management for the span.
  • Independently manage large-scale back-office operations, including transitions/migrations of new scope from the client to eClerx.
  • Establish and monitor a robust risk and control framework; proactively highlight and mitigate risk/control issues and ensure audit readiness.
  • Drive the transformation agenda—identify and deliver process improvement (PI), RPA, and automation opportunities with measurable benefits.
  • Own management information and analytics—design and review daily/weekly/monthly MIS, dashboards, and insights for client and internal leadership.
  • Lead documentation, change management, and quality initiatives across all processes managed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in syndicated loan operations, including experience managing teams.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of processing Syndicated Loans—Participation/Agented/Bilateral deals/Secondary loans, trade closing/settlement/cash reconciliation, and agency servicing.
  • Proven track record of conceptualizing, designing, and delivering high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on projects varying in complexity and scope.
  • Knowledge of or prior experience with offshoring processes and methodologies, including transitions and ramp-ups, highly preferred.
  • Strong logical and quantitative abilities with sound commercial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to operate with minimal direction and take full ownership of outcomes.
  • Ability to act fast and decisively in critical situations.
  • Exposure to loan platforms (e.g., LoanIQ/ClearPar) and automation/RPA tools preferred.
  • Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills, and stay relevant to business demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills—ability to network and earn the confidence of diverse client personnel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Current subject matter experience or prior training experience.
