Senior Manager, Supply & Demand Planning

Responsibilities

  • Demand planning:
    • Build accurate forecasts, on a monthly basis, in consensus with Sales and Marketing teams, for permanent offers, new launches, limited edition collections and non saleable products (testers, samples, bags…)
    • Review historical sales trends, marketing plan, identify demand drivers to improve forecast accuracy by channel
    • Maintain AGR software as the primary forecasting system tool: Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy
    • Monitor the performance of new launches and animations versus the forecast
    • Adjust missed opportunities, extraordinary events impacting the past
    • Generate replenishment needs
  • Supply planning:
    • Responsible for having the products at the right time right place through the management of the distribution, allocations, purchases from main supplier from France
    • Prepare regular reports on purchase plan variations and inventory status
    • Build an accurate purchase plan, on a monthly basis, based on demand forecasts
    • Monitor the replenishment and product parameters ( lifecycle status, lead time, safety stock…)
    • Drive action plans to reduce Excess & Obsolete
    • Identify potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions in supplier availability, and work proactively to mitigate these risks
  • Management:
    • Lead the S&OP process: analyze product performance, alignment of the forecast vs the budget, risks and opportunities
    • Monitor and report on KPIs as forecast accuracy, fill rate, stock covers, sell through
    • Manage 1 supply planner and 2 demand planners & help them achieve excellence and grow
    • Collaborate and provide analysis to all functions across the business to improve decision making and business performance
    • Build strong relationships with HQ teams
  • Process:
    • Propose and implement solutions to improve internal processes
    • Help to build and test reports in our BI tool, Tableau
    • Lead & accompany new projects and improvement process with collective momentum

Qualifications

  • 8+ years previous experience in demand and supply planning, ideally in a luxury or high-end contemporary company
  • A strong analytical mind-set, good attention to detail
  • Advanced level of excel
  • A team player, collaborate with integrity with all teams, strong communication skills
  • Aim for excellence, business first
  • Ability to solve problem with calm using organizational, decision making and proven presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: be action oriented & proactive to manage day-to-day activities

Salary Range

$140,000 - $160,000
