Senior Manager, Supply Chain – Phillips (Omaha)

This leadership position in Phillips Manufacturing’s Logistics department is responsible for directing all aspects of Production Planning & Scheduling, Raw Material Replenishment, Finished Goods Stocking Levels, and Interplant Transfer Supply Planning for Phillips’ network of 10 manufacturing/distribution locations. This position leads integration of daily logistics activities into a cohesive workflow, intended to support efficient plant operations, lowest cost distribution, and optimal service to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead & develop a team of production planners, logistics coordinators, and inventory control associates responsible for Production Planning, Freight Carrier Coordination, and Inventory Management.
  • Establish and maintain stocking levels for all SKUs at each location, regularly reviewing and updating them as business conditions change.
  • Provide oversight regarding the negotiation of transportation rates and/or services.
  • Provide oversight regarding inventory count accuracy and aged inventory reviews.
  • Lead continuous improvement and standardization of production & supply planning processes across the plant network and collaborate with the plants, sales, & purchasing to optimize and balance cost performance with product availability to meet customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to fully leverage NetSuite to optimize Supply Chain processes and Inventory Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience leading a Supply Chain team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products; advanced Microsoft Excel user.
  • Travel time up to 20% supporting locations in Florida, California, West Virginia, North Carolina, and warehouses.
  • Located in or willingness to relocate to Omaha, NE strongly preferred.
