About the role

Working in a team with Neil Milligan, Wasim Juma, and Steven Whyte (Heads of Structured Real Estate & Infrastructure Finance), the SREIF Origination Senior Manager will play a critical role in delivering high-impact funding facilities to support housing delivery in areas most in need. You will join a highly skilled and experienced team of 20 people committed to making positive change in how loan funding is deployed by the National Housing Bank to address gaps and failures in commercial funding markets, ensuring developers can access finance to boost delivery of new housing.

Responsibilities

  • Build and exploit your network to originate new lending opportunities.
  • Analyse complex funding challenges and negotiate robust lending structures.
  • Effectively manage the progress of proposals through approval processes.
  • Manage stakeholders at a senior level, ensuring discussions are shaped by a strong understanding of the commercial and operational impact of loan origination.
  • Work collaboratively within an innovative, fun, and engaging team environment.
  • Demonstrate resilience and the ability to negotiate and persuade.

Requirements

  • Experience as a finance or real estate professional.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
  • Ability to manage colleagues and foster good decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial and operational impact of loan origination.
