Senior Manager - Sterile Processing

About the role

This role will be responsible for overseeing four supervisor direct reports, and strong working relationships with Perioperative and Interventional leadership, clinical and support staff, and physicians throughout the North Puget Sound. This role will work collaboratively with Senior Nursing Director to define, manage, and closely monitor the strategic plan for Sterile Processing. Develops, implements, and manages operational budgets for departments.

This position will support both Providence Regional Medical Center - Everett (primary location) and Swedish Edmonds locations (secondary location).

Responsibilities

• Oversee four supervisor direct reports
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Perioperative and Interventional leadership, clinical and support staff, and physicians throughout the North Puget Sound
• Work collaboratively with Senior Nursing Director to define, manage, and closely monitor the strategic plan for Sterile Processing
• Develop, implement, and manage operational budgets for departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field or equivalent education/experience
• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire or National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire or National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire
• National Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire
• National Management in Sterile Processing - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire
• 5 years of Supervisory experience, including training and staff development
• 5 years of Budget with management and analysis
• 7 years of Work experience in the field of Sterile Processing

Pay

Base pay range: $50.32 - $79.45 per hour. Placement on the range is determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
