Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering Majors West

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering Majors West to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This leader will oversee a high-performing technical team supporting complex customer engagements across public safety and multi-agency deployments in the western region. The role will shape technical win strategy, elevate customer-facing execution, and ensure the team delivers strong demos, documentation, and field support. This person will also partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to turn customer feedback into better solutions and stronger outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring, onboarding, and coaching of the Solutions Engineering team
• Set high standards for technical quality in demos and customer documentation
• Manage resource allocation and prioritize Solutions Engineering efforts
• Drive technical wins across citywide programs and multi-agency deployments
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for critical customer issues
• Oversee site assessment quality and ensure high installation standards
• Act as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, such as solutions engineering, field engineering, or applications engineering
• 1+ years of experience leading a technical team or serving as a technical lead
• Strong understanding of drone technology and Public Safety sUAS operations
• Familiarity with Public Safety technologies such as CAD and VMS
• Proven track record in hiring, onboarding, and developing technical talent
• Comfortable operating within a Sales organization and managing deal strategies
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences

Pay

$172,000 – $215,000 annually
