About the role
VTS is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Consultant - Activate to assist and translate new business opportunity into a successful deployment plan across VTS Activate.
Responsibilities
- Commence as the solutions expert alongside the Account Executive, translating customer needs into a tailored Activate solution.
- Manage the full arc of solution implementation preparedness, from qualified opportunity to a clean handoff to implementation.
- Work predominantly through major channel partners, expanding to the direct channel and other commercial clients.
- Partner closely with the Senior Technical Solutions Consultant to verify and complete the solution, ensuring integrations, APIs, custom development, and access-control specifics are covered.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure a smooth transition and provide ongoing support throughout the deployment process.
- Support significant new bookings growth across partner-managed and direct portfolios.
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and evangelizing the Activate vision.
Requirements
- Experience in a pre-sales or solutioning role, such as Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Customer Success Manager.
- A SaaS background with a proven track record of effectively selling and communicating the product's value.
- Exceptional client-facing and facilitation skills, able to lead meetings and drive results with executives.
- Strong process and project management skills, capable of managing complex solution definitions end-to-end and bringing structure to ambiguity.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, translating technical capabilities into measurable business value.
- Comfortable working with Salesforce and familiar with tools like Jira or Airtable.
- Familiarity with access-control, physical-security, or building-systems ecosystems.
- New York-based, able to work from the office and travel up to ~25%.

Pay
- Base salary: $125,000 - $160,000
- OTE: $145,000 - $190,000
Schedule
- Based in New York office, working four days a week.
- Up to 25% travel for client meetings and quarterly business review board (QBR) meetings.
