Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Platform/Infra)

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers
• Drive and execute quarterly team roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of milestones
• Stay technically engaged through design reviews and architecture decisions
• Identify and implement organizational improvements with other engineering leaders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform contracts and address delivery gaps
• Communicate team progress and needs effectively to leadership and technical audiences
• Build and enhance infrastructure or tooling to ensure measurable impact

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software at scale with team performance ownership
• Technical depth in database reliability, CI/CD, or internal developer platform tooling
• Hands-on technical engagement in code, design reviews, and architecture discussions
• Strong knowledge of Azure and tools like Kubernetes and Docker, with DevOps practices experience
• Familiarity with observability platforms and performance engineering is preferred
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and ability to manage ambiguous strategies

Pay

$204,000 – $327,500 annually
