Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (Hybrid)
About the role
CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity, protecting the people, processes, and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, the mission has been to stop breaches, redefining modern security with the world's most advanced AI-native platform. The company works on large-scale distributed systems processing almost 3 trillion events per day, with customers across all industries relying on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running and communities safe.
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is fundamental to the reliability and scalability of CrowdStrike's cloud-native security platform. Recent initiatives include introducing adaptive concurrency to the core Kafka library for flow control to protect database performance, and large-scale automations for building new clouds. The overarching aim is to build the next-generation infrastructure and security platform, including an application and service delivery platform, massively scalable distributed data storage and replication systems, and a cutting-edge search and distributed graph system.
A new offshoot from the Core SRE group is launching, embedding into specific product arms to further scale CrowdStrike's infrastructure and products to handle massive growth in traffic and data. CrowdStrike Falcon is the industry standard in cloud-native cybersecurity and threat hunting, processing trillions of events per day. As a Senior SRE Manager, you will build and lead high-performing engineering teams beginning with this new addition to SRE, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will work across organizational boundaries to drive platform resiliency and partner with peer leaders and executives to align strategic initiatives and technical directions.
