What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the design and optimization of scalable data pipelines and architecture using platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, and relational databases.
- Translate business priorities into actionable data initiatives that improve access, accuracy, and visibility of key sales metrics.
- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts, fostering professional growth and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Operations, and IT teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that enhance decision-making.
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and quality assurance practices to guarantee reliable analytics.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and metrics that measure operational performance and sales effectiveness.
- Implement automated reporting systems to streamline delivery of sales and operational metrics.
- Support AI and advanced analytics initiatives, partnering with research teams to integrate new models and scale infrastructure.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and analytical tools to enhance data agility and reduce manual effort.
What You Bring to the Table
- Strategic, analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, leading cross-functional efforts and managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery and traditional RDBMS systems.
- Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality principles.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
- 3+ years of management experience, leading analytical teams or similar.
- Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and relational database management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Strong project management background, including Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with Python, R, dbt, or Airflow for advanced data orchestration and transformation.
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services.
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration, model deployment support, and advanced analytics pipelines.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks and enterprise data catalogs.
- Prior experience in sales operations analytics, such as forecasting, territory planning, or performance reporting.
