How You'll Create Impact
- Leading the robotics software development team.
- Investigate and develop algorithms for the robotic motion planning and control in orthopedics applications.
- Deployment of applications on a robotic system.
- Leading a team that efficiently develops cutting-edge algorithms.
- Develop motion planning pipelines for robotic arms using common algorithms such as RRT, RRT*, A*, etc. (outside ROS environment).
- Contribute to development in C++.
- Team management with Agile.
- Work with other teams to coordinate requirements and hardware development.
- Adhere to the highest standards of coding in a regulated environment.
- Participate in rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Create design documents & follow regulatory procedures and guidelines.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in the Medical Device industry.
- Experience with surgical robotics platforms.
- UI Development with Qt is a plus.
- Experience with IEC 62304 software development cycle for medical devices.
- Experience with TCP/IP or UDP over Ethernet or serial communication.
- Advanced C++ programming skills and strong knowledge of CMake.
- Advanced Knowledge of Docker.
- Highly experienced in Linux.
- OpenCV, CUDA, OpenMP, and TBB experience.
- Multi-threading development expertise.
- Sensor fusion experience.
- Advanced Jira knowledge.
- Highly skilled in Math and structure algorithms.
- Highly skilled in developing UI with QT, VTK, and OpenGL.
Your Background
Required Master of Science or higher in robotics, computer science, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience. Preferred Ph.D. in robotics, computer science, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
Travel Expectations: Up to 15%
