About the role
The role is a leader of Risk Operations within VRMO. This role will enhance the vision and charter for identifying bad actors across the seller lifecycle, including risk identification and mitigation across diverse set of programs worldwide. The role will partner with WW risk managers, product teams, tech partners, legal partners, and business partners to establish a vision of sustainable compliance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for setting the vision, direction, and driving WW alignment to improve overall verification and enforcement of bad actors.
- Define, implement, and manage bad actor risks, including the development and reporting against metrics and key performance indicators to assess the health of operations and continuous improvement.
- Identify key operational risk areas, ascertain risk thresholds, review processes for adequacy, engage with stakeholders to drive risk mitigation, monitor key risk indicators, and periodically report out risk performance.
- Work with a wide range of cross-functional teams to assess current controls and influence the technology and science teams to build scalable systems.
- Communicate regularly with leadership and ensure consistent reporting of risk indicators and identified controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance, operations, or a similar discipline experience.
- Experience with cross-functional project or program delivery.
- Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance, operations, or a similar discipline experience.
- 7+ years of team management with 5 or more direct reports experience.
- Experience in risk management, audit, legal, compliance, or a related field including engaging with external stakeholders.
- Experience in team management with 5 or more direct reports.
- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
- Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities.
Skills
- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management.
- Knowledge of AI and tech fluency is an added advantage.
