Senior Manager, Revenue Management
Brief Description
The Sr. Manager, Revenue Management will seek to optimize Sabert’s revenue & profitability by leading the ongoing development of pricing strategies, policies, processes and guidelines. Revenue Management's focus will be to proactively improve revenue & profitability by providing insights from analytics, developing tools, educating & influencing the organization, monitoring compliance, and identifying opportunities for improvement to senior leadership.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop & refine pricing strategies to ensure maximum profitability while meeting sales volume goals
Maintain & enhance pricing structure for Stock and Proof of Delivery item pricing, based on sales volume, geography, channel, etc.
Monitor raw material, freight, and other cost drivers in conjunction with competitive price adjustment communications and make recommendations regarding Sabert’s market driven price actions
Develop & enhance tools for Sales Management to create a seamless entry to critical pricing information. This will include:
- Leverage Price Optimization tools & techniques
- Customer/Product profitability dashboard/reporting with Power BI
- Customer Profitability Estimator
- Manage contract pricing
- Review current contracts and proactively make recommendations to improve profitability
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including accuracy and timeliness of contract pricing (escalators/de-escalators)
- Implement and maintain a database that tracks contract renewal dates and escalator timing
Monitor and Reporting Pricing reports:
- Into-stock item pricing reports
- Proof of Delivery item pricing reports
- Price effectivity
- Price change impact reports
Monitor Sales compliance – consistently review Into-stock and/or Proof of Delivery pricing changes to ensure compliance with Sabert policies
Monitor and review of low margin customers/items on an ongoing basis, as well as programs and prices that are outside of current guidelines
Follow-up to ensure agreed actions are executed on above items/programs; ensure compliance with announced price increases; and develop process to ensure accurate and timely implementation
Analyze pricing data to provide management with information and policy/price change recommendations

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access; Business Objects experience a plus
Background, Education And Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA a plus
Minimum of 7 years experience in a financial or marketing role with at least 3+ years working with pricing
Experience in Foodservice industry a major plus
Business to business experience required
Other Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable
