This role is tasked with generating our Royalty and Silicon Revenue forecasts that serve as the foundation for internal and external operating targets for these businesses. This position plays a critical role, ensuring sure that our forecasts are reliable and accurate for business and strategic planning, and enabling us to demonstrate a record of consistent execution. Responsibilities
- Become a domain expert in the Royalty and Silicon businesses.
- Lead the consolidation of the Quarterly Royalty Revenue forecast, refining forecasts in collaboration with our lines of business.
- Develop the Royalty Revenue business narrative and prepare presentations for senior Finance leaders, including CFO and Investor Relations.
- Lead the Quarterly Royalty Revenue Accrual process, working closely with the Revenue Accounting team to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Prepare Market Intelligence reports that provide senior leadership with insights into key near-term business drivers and help inform our forecasting process.
- Lead the further development of the Corporate FP&A forecasting process for Silicon Revenue in close coordination with the Silicon Operations team and lines of business.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Investment Banking, Equity Research or similar.
- Exceptional financial modeling, forecasting and analytical skills, with high-attention to detail, the ability to test assumptions, interpret complex data, and make well-supported judgments.
- Demonstrated ownership of key functions within Corporate Finance, including managing processes, driving implementation, delivering outputs, collaborating across functions, and solving problems.
- Proven ability to earn trust with senior leaders and across function through domain expertise and clear decision-making.
- Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations, influencing decisions across functions.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes, data quality, and forecast accuracy.
- Growth mindset with an open-minded approach to changing dynamics in Arm's business and ability to embrace and leverage emerging AI tools and data analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of providing executive-level commentary that balances simplicity with detail to explain Revenue performance and forecast movements.
- Ability to react swiftly to new data points and business developments, informing senior leaders and adjusting forecasts as necessary.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of the Silicon business model and ecosystem, including IP licensing, the chip design and manufacturing processes, and competitive market dynamics.
- Strong fluency with AI tools and data analytics platforms, including Databricks, with the ability to harness their capabilities to automate processes and to provide unique insights into our business.
- MBA, CFA or equivalent.
Pay
Salary Range $187,000-$253,000 per year.
