About the role
The Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management oversees and optimizes revenue cycle operations across healthcare provider groups.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing scalable strategies for accurate coding, compliant billing, timely reimbursement, and financial performance.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in professional billing and coding (CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS) to establish performance standards, controls, and workflows, and utilizing data analysis to improve claims performance, coding accuracy, and revenue capture.
- Partnering with clinical, operational, finance, compliance, and product teams to resolve complex revenue cycle issues, enhance documentation integrity, and prevent denials.
- Providing strategic guidance to leadership on revenue cycle risks, opportunities, and performance, supporting program growth and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
- 3+ years leading revenue cycle programs.
- Advanced knowledge of billing, coding, and payer requirements.
- Strong analytical, cross-functional collaboration, and executive communication skills.
- Preferred certifications: CPC, CCS, CPMA.
- Experience in multi-state or complex healthcare settings is advantageous.
