WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage the process for generating monthly regional sales plans for each of our 7 HMA regions.
- Develop a regional sales plan for each region to effectively measure and track regional sales achievement, inventory availability/pipeline and profitability.
- Coordinate between the regional staff and National on sales planning and profit optimization.
- Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders including Finance, HMNA Production Planning, Distribution and our regions.
- Train Regional Sales teams on sales planning processes and SPOS regional carflow system.
- Serve as liaison to manage inventory constraints and surplus allocation across regions.
- Continuously refine SPOS carflow system accuracy with regional inputs and HAEA systems support.
- Partner with National Sales Operations to establish annual regional targets (sales, share, wholesale, profitability).
- Provide ongoing reporting on regional sales performance, inventory status, and pipeline insights to executives.
- Conduct scenario (“what-if”) planning with Finance and Sales Planning to optimize outcomes.
- Recommend regional volume allocations to support national sales and profitability goals.
- Maintain and report detailed regional sales rundowns.
- Deliver data-driven analysis to optimize vehicle allocation by region.
- Influence enterprise-wide profitability through strategic allocation recommendations generating significant financial impact.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Master’s degree a plus
- Eight years of similar experience in a complex organization conducting planning, sales analysis, vehicle distribution, etc.
- Regional planning a plus.
- Regional field experience a plus.
- Carflow analysis a plus.
- Management consulting a plus.
- Experience creating and presenting executive facing presentations / report.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide robust and substantiated recommendations.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
- Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths/weaknesses and make recommendations to leverage or augment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills across diverse groups including regional staff, Finance, Executives, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $114,800 - $164,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
