Senior Manager, Regional Field Market Development
Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Regional Field Market Development is responsible for planning and executing field-based marketing programs that drive customer engagement, lead generation, and commercial growth within the region. This role serves as a strategic partner to sales leadership, translating business priorities into impactful customer-facing activities, events, and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Market Development
- Develop and execute regional marketing plans aligned to commercial objectives and growth priorities.
- Partner closely with sales leadership to identify opportunities for customer engagement, lead generation, and account development.
- Drive field marketing activities that increase brand visibility, customer interaction, and pipeline generation.
- Monitor regional market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform marketing programs.
- Tradeshow And Event Leadership
- Own strategy and execution for the company's primary annual industry tradeshows and other key regional events.
- Lead all aspects of event planning, including exhibit development, customer experience, promotional activities, vendor management, budgets, and logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent and compelling event execution.
- Establish event objectives, messaging & positioning, portfolio presence, success metrics, and post-event reporting.
- Customer Engagement and Campaign Activation
- Develop and execute pre-event outreach programs to drive attendance, meetings, and customer engagement.
- Partner with sales teams to identify target accounts and strategic customer opportunities.
- Cook up post-event follow-up activities, lead management processes, and nurture programs to maximize conversion and pipeline impact.
- Measure and communicate campaign effectiveness, engagement metrics, and return on investment.
- Sales Meeting and Commercial Support
- Lead marketing support for the annual sales meeting and other commercial events.
- Cook up meeting content, customer-facing materials, event communications, and engagement activities.
- Support sales enablement initiatives through development of commercial tools, presentations, and marketing resources.
- Partner with commercial leadership to ensure alignment between marketing programs and sales priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in field marketing, market development, commercial marketing, or related B2B marketing roles.
- Proven experience leading large-scale tradeshows, customer events, and field marketing programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience partnering directly with sales organizations and commercial leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to measure program effectiveness and drive business results through marketing activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within life sciences, diagnostics, healthcare, laboratory, or technical B2B industries.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience managing external agencies, exhibit partners, and event vendors.
- Knowledge of lead generation, customer engagement strategies, and event ROI measurement.

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00–$173,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
