About the Role

Collins Aerospace Electric Power Systems (EPS) Rockford is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality System Compliance and Shared Resources. In this role, you will execute key elements of Quality Compliance operational plans, lead a team of Quality Compliance professionals, and provide guidance to shared resources across the Rockford campus. You will set tactical and operational plans to achieve Quality Compliance goals and drive process improvements to ensure continued compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Quality Compliance function and Calibration team within the EPS Rockford site.
  • Administer and manage the EPS Rockford Level Quality Procedures and Forms.
  • Maintain the EPS Rockford Approved Supplier Listing.
  • Responsible for the internal Quality Audit program.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for support of Customer and Regulatory audits, including specific management requirements of the 3rd Party Registrar.
  • Oversight of the AS9100 certification of the EPS Rockford site.
  • Manage reviews of procedures and metrics that impact quality throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Communicate and make presentations to internal/external senior and executive-level leadership.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
  • Work proficiently within multiple systems including ETQ Reliance Audit, CAPA, and Management Review software, as well as MS Office – Excel and PowerPoint.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Experience managing a team of Quality professionals.
  • Applied experience in Aerospace Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems (QMS), AS9100, and Regulatory Agency Requirements (e.g., FAI’s, MRB/PR Authority).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified (AS9100D) Internal Auditor.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and external customers.
  • Experience with Aerospace Operations sites and processes.
  • Familiarity with ETQ Reliance Audit and CAPA software.
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications (CQE and CQA).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $132,400 – $251,600 USD.
