Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and evaluation of capital investment business cases in partnership with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain leaders.
- Build, validate, and challenge financial models including NPV, IRR, payback, and sensitivity analyses.
- Provide SAP-based financial governance for capital projects using WBS structures and Internal Orders.
- Ensure accurate project setup, tracking, approval compliance, and audit-ready documentation.
- Track capital budgets, actuals, commitments, and forecast-at-completion, driving variance analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper capitalization, cost allocation, and financial close-out of capital projects.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and align capital deployment with funding and working capital objectives.
- Monitor post-investment performance against business cases, including ROI, utilization, and cost improvement metrics.
- Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and FP&A as finance lead for capacity expansion initiatives.
- Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, insights, and recommendations on CapEx performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Eight to twelve (8–12+) years of experience in manufacturing finance, FP&A, or project finance.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP, including Project Systems (PS), WBS, and Internal Orders.
- Advanced financial modeling capabilities for capital investment evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead capital governance, cost control, and ROI tracking for large-scale projects.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills with ability to influence senior leadership.
