About the role

Product Management at Capital One is a dynamic field focused on reimagining traditional approaches, identifying value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. The role involves owning the enterprise strategy and delivery for Capital One's AI coding tool portfolio, and agentic tools that will shape the future of software development.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently holds or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), or a Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 4 years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Experience exploring, prototyping, or implementing emerging technologies and AI automation tools such as Gemini, Claude, Claude Code, or Google Apps Script.
  • Strong data fluency in SQL, metrics design, and data pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with human-centered design and understanding customer needs.
  • Proven track record of delivering game-changing outcomes through strategic focus and execution.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative and resilient solutions using technology.
  • Experience in integrated problem-solving and risk mitigation.
  • Leadership skills in leading cross-functional teams towards solving customer problems and aligning organizational goals.

Pay and Benefits

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role vary by location:

  • Chicago, IL: $182,500 - $208,300
  • Mclean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100
  • Plano, TX: $182,500 - $208,300
  • Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with their location. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
