Senior Manager, Product Design - Design Platform

Responsibilities

• Shape the design system by defining architecture, token strategy, and visual language.
• Establish platform strategy for web and mobile, balancing shared and distinct experiences.
• Innovate AI-enabled design systems by developing new workflows and machine-readable standards.
• Create metrics to guide priorities and secure leadership support.
• Define a governance model for design platforms and manage contributions across teams.
• Coach and develop senior designers in both leadership and hands-on roles.
• Collaborate with product design and engineering to enhance product building processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience, including 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience building or scaling a design system used by multiple product teams.
• Experience defining design patterns or platform strategy across web and mobile apps.
• Experience managing design system components, tokens, documentation, and visual design.
• Proven collaboration skills with engineering on implementing design systems.

Pay

$198,700 – $275,000 annually
