About the role
Responsible for overseeing procurement operations and enabling processes within Deltek, Inc. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in procurement management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier relationships.
- Oversee all aspects of procurement including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on procurement objectives and support business initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement.
- Lead procurement enablement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of successful procurement strategy development and execution.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with procurement software and tools.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPCM, PMP, or similar procurement-related certifications.
- Experience with procurement process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean.
