About the role

Responsible for overseeing procurement operations and enabling processes within Deltek, Inc. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in procurement management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier relationships.
  • Oversee all aspects of procurement including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on procurement objectives and support business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement.
  • Lead procurement enablement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of successful procurement strategy development and execution.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with procurement software and tools.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM, PMP, or similar procurement-related certifications.
  • Experience with procurement process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean.
