Senior Manager Procurement

Brightstar is an innovative global lottery company seeking a Senior Manager Procurement to lead procurement strategy and execution, build strong supplier partnerships, drive cost optimization, ensure compliance and manage risk, collaborate cross-functionally, enable operational excellence, and apply business insight.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Procurement Strategy and Execution: Manage the full procurement lifecycle for key materials, ensuring consistent supply and alignment with security and regulatory standards.
Build Strong Supplier Partnerships: Establish and maintain collaborative supplier relationships focused on performance, innovation, and risk mitigation. Lead regular business reviews and implement supplier scorecards and improvement plans.
Drive Cost Optimization: Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality, delivery, and compliance standards. Lead negotiations and pursue value engineering opportunities to improve total cost of ownership.
Ensure Compliance and Manage Risk: Conduct sourcing activities in alignment with procurement policies and regulatory requirements. Structure agreements that balance value and risk, and proactively address supply chain disruptions, tariffs, and global market changes.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and Operations teams to align sourcing strategies with product needs and timelines. Support new product introductions and ensure material availability and readiness.
Enable Operational Excellence: Support and develop procurement team members as applicable. Promote continuous improvement, standardization, and best practices across procurement operations.
Apply Business Insight: Use knowledge of industry trends, supplier markets, and competitive dynamics to inform sourcing decisions and strengthen Brightstar’s supply position.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in paper converting or manufacturing environments
Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier agreements
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of procurement or sourcing experience in manufacturing or paper converting
Experience navigating global supply markets and understanding factors such as tariffs, logistics constraints, and geopolitical impacts
Knowledge of supplier sourcing strategies and competitive market positioning

Pay
The estimated starting compensation range is $183,696 - $220,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
