Senior Manager, Private Equity

About the role

A leading private markets firm is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee private equity fund accounting operations and support the delivery of high-quality reporting and investor services. This is a senior, client-facing opportunity for an experienced fund accounting professional with strong private equity expertise. The successful candidate will partner with a leading private equity client, oversee complex fund structures, lead accounting teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to investment managers and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting activities across private equity funds, co-investment vehicles, and related investment structures.
• Manage quarterly closes, NAV reporting, capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and financial reporting.
• Review management fees, carried interest calculations, partnership accounting, and complex fund structures.
• Serve as a key contact for clients, auditors, and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of fund information.
• Lead, mentor, and develop fund accounting professionals while driving process improvements and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of private equity fund accounting experience within a fund administrator, asset manager, or alternative investment environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of private equity fund structures, NAV calculations, partnership accounting, allocations, and investor reporting.
• Experience managing complex investment vehicles, including private equity funds, co-investments, and SPVs.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing client relationships.

Qualifications

• CPA qualification preferred.
