Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and execution of the Privacy Engineering team
- Hire, coach, and develop a team of privacy engineers
- Design and implement scalable privacy controls and governance processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy requirements
- Oversee privacy reviews and technical risk assessments of new products and data flows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in people management
- Experience leading teams in production software, security, or data systems
- Proven track record in designing and operating privacy and data governance systems
- Ability to translate privacy and regulatory requirements into technical controls
