About the Team

Join Cisco’s Pricing Strategy and Monetization team—an essential part of our Product Organization—where innovation meets impact! We develop pricing strategies, drive monetization initiatives, and optimize pricing models to enable Cisco’s platformization strategy, accelerate AI-driven offerings, and unlock cross-sell and upsell potential across our global portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of pricing strategies across Cisco’s product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product management, strategy, engineering, finance, GTM, operations, and sales to deliver actionable pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Support annual pricing reviews to identify improvement opportunities across monetization models and packaging structures.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to benchmark pricing trends and innovations within the high-tech industry.
  • Analyze customer buying behaviors, price elasticity, and willingness to pay to inform and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Lead the development of scalable pricing capabilities and tools for the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, product management, or business strategy, within Data platform, cybersecurity, SaaS, or top-tier consulting firms.
  • Experience with different pricing models, including subscription, consumption-based, and perpetual licensing.
  • Experience in data analytics, financial modeling, and pricing analytics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with pricing tools and analytical platforms (e.g. Excel, Tableau, SQL, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy, finance, or economics.
  • Previous experience at a top-tier management consulting firm.
  • Previous experience working at a cybersecurity / Data platform company.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $196,000.00 to $247,000.00 for new hires in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.

Full salary ranges by location:

  • New York City Metro Area: $196,000.00 - $284,100.00
  • Non-Metro New York State & Washington State: $174,000.00 - $252,100.00

For quota-based sales roles, the ranges include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

    • Exempt employees: Flexible vacation time off with no defined limit (subject to business limitations).
    • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, with up to 80 hours carried forward annually.
    • Additional paid time away for critical or emergency family issues.
    • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer.
  • Annual bonuses for non-sales roles, subject to Cisco’s policies.
  • For sales roles: Performance-based incentive pay split between quota and non-quota components, with specific payout structures based on revenue attainment.
