Senior Manager - Pricing
About the Role
As the Senior Manager - Pricing, you will be responsible for executing pricing strategies. You will serve as a collaborative partner with sales leadership to develop a comprehensive pricing strategy aligned with achieving sales and billing margin goals. You will lead a team of pricing managers through data analysis, reporting, and price setting.
Responsibilities
- Builds business plan based on pricing strategy focused on price evaluation, price setting, and price execution.
- Aligns with regional leaders on price strategy.
- Leads team focused on price setting, accuracy, optimization, and margin improvement.
- Functions as leader in team building and change management.
- Provides formal and informal pricing training.
- Provides customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Develops and maintains procedures and policies focused on pricing accuracy and profit maximization.
- Provides analytical pricing support for the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 3 years of pricing management experience required, 5 years preferred.
- 1 year of management supervision experience required, 2 years preferred.
- 2 years of pricing management with electrical distribution preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of pricing structures and techniques.
- Strong personal leadership and ability to teach and help others.
- Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skill sets, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access a plus.
- Goal and results-oriented.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage diverse job responsibilities with effective organizational skills, prioritize with overlapping and challenging deadlines.
- Able to travel approximately 35%.
- Electrical product knowledge preferred.
Pay
$122,328 - $168,201 annually. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
