Senior Manager, Portfolio Analytics & Strategy

For our client, a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space, we are seeking a Senior Manager of Portfolio Analytics & Strategy to drive strategic priorities, executive-level problem solving, and cross-functional execution on high-impact initiatives.

About the role

This position partners with senior leaders and teams across the organization to clarify priorities, coordinate complex work, and turn strategic decisions into measurable action. The role strengthens operating cadence, decision quality, and enterprise execution within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise PTRS assessment with Product Teams and experts
• Own and evolve PTRS methodology, integrating with business processes
• Oversee development of PTRS tools and decision-support capabilities
• Partner with Product Teams on risk assessment across development options
• Facilitate evidence-based discussions to clarify risk and value trade-offs
• Support portfolio reviews and prioritize investment decisions
• Deliver insights on portfolio performance for senior leadership

Qualifications

• Doctorate and 2+ years in R&D portfolio management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Master’s with 4+ years in R&D or management consulting
• Bachelor’s with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Associate’s degree and 10+ years in portfolio analytics or related fields
• High school diploma with 12+ years in R&D portfolio management

Pay

$141,453 – $191,377 annually
