Senior Manager, PMO

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, PMO to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will oversee PMO execution with a strong focus on financial stewardship, forecasting, and team leadership. The right candidate will help drive consistent project management practices, improve deployment methodologies, and support enterprise-wide initiatives across a complex, multi-regional environment. This position also partners closely with cross-functional leaders to resolve escalations, mitigate risk, and strengthen delivery performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own financial and cost control responsibilities, including P&L oversight and accurate forecasting
• Manage personnel development and team motivation
• Recruit, interview, and forecast staffing needs
• Ensure effective team utilization across regions
• Drive escalated issues to resolution and mitigate risks
• Focus on improving methodologies and deployment processes
• Communicate and support PMO and corporate initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing Managers and Senior Project Managers
• 10+ years of project management experience
• 5+ years of PMO management experience
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on talent development
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across functions
• Excellent understanding of financial processes and forecasting
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Pay

$140,800 – $176,000 annually
