Senior Manager, Platform Security Engineering & Transformation
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office collaboration three days a week and remote work two days a week. Visa sponsorship or transfers are not available for this role.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Information Security Engineers designing, documenting, testing, maintaining, and resolving issues for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication, directory services, email, internet, applications, or endpoint security.
- Engage with experienced information security and line-of-business management to identify, formulate, and implement security solutions and controls.
- Lead a large, complex information security unit or multiple specialized work units with direct impact on company-wide security objectives involving high risk and complexity.
- Provide security consulting for large projects to ensure conformity with corporate information security policies and standards.
- Set compliance and risk management guidelines for the supported area and collaborate with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
- Oversee resource allocations to align commitments with strategic objectives.
- Manage the implementation of information security practices, including availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity.
- Maintain broad awareness of information security trends across the enterprise and industry.
- Influence changes to information security policies, standards, and procedures for systems, applications, or tools.
- Lead large, company-wide projects and initiatives.
- Represent the organization to regulators, industry groups, and governmental agencies.
- Interface with Information Security Industry Leaders, Financial Industry Leaders, Analysts, and Regulators.
- Advise senior leadership or executive management on high-impact issues.
- Manage the allocation of people and financial resources for Information Security Architecture.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
- Lead Production Services and Platform Support teams responsible for application stability, service reliability, incident response, resiliency, change readiness, and technology support.
- Translate executive strategy into actionable roadmaps, priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Drive timely execution across complex initiatives, ensuring commitments and measurable outcomes are achieved.
- Transform traditional application support models into platform-focused, engineering-led capabilities to improve reliability, scalability, automation, and service quality.
- Build and mature Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including service health measurement, observability, resiliency engineering, performance improvement, service restoration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead vulnerability management execution, partnering with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application Development teams to accelerate remediation and reduce technology risk.
- Coordinate end-to-end remediation workflows across detection, prioritization, ownership assignment, remediation, validation, and closure.
- Drive adoption of automation and Agentic AI to reduce manual effort, improve decision-making, accelerate remediation, enhance service restoration, and increase engineering productivity.
- Lead modernization efforts across cloud, container, platform, and emerging technology environments while ensuring production readiness and supportability.
- Establish clear metrics, accountability routines, executive updates, and delivery checkpoints to provide transparency and drive action.
- Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and organizational friction early, then lead resolution with urgency and ownership.

Requirements
- 7+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience.

- Proven experience leading large-scale Production Services, Platform Support, Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure, or enterprise technology teams.
- Strong background in application support, service reliability, incident response, resiliency, vulnerability management, automation, cloud, containers, and modern engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver results in a complex, highly matrixed enterprise environment.
- Excellent ability to organize work, manage dependencies, drive timelines, communicate status, and ensure follow-through across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues, present clear options, and drive decisions.
- MBA preferred.
