Senior Manager- Platform Engineering/DevOps

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager- Platform Engineering/DevOps to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will guide platform engineering and DevOps execution for cloud-based capabilities that support reliable, scalable operations in a regulated healthcare environment. The position will own roadmap delivery, technical standards, and incident readiness while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business. It will also help shape cloud security, automation, and team development to strengthen operational performance and resilience. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $106,605 – $260,590 annually Responsibilities Own and execute the platform engineering roadmap Drive delivery of GCP-based platform capabilities Establish and enforce engineering standards and compliance Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams Provide clear status reporting and risk mitigation Oversee implementation of GCP landing zone components Lead incident response and escalation management Mentor a team of engineers and support knowledge sharing Identify automation opportunities and evaluate cloud security tools Drive sprint planning and manage resource allocation Qualifications 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE 4+ years in team leadership or technical lead roles for mid-sized teams 3+ years with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code 4+ years in Agile delivery and incident management 1+ years in AI-driven operations or automation frameworks 3+ years in cloud networking and production support environments 3+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar databases Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off Retirement savings options Wellness programs Comprehensive benefits package supporting physical, emotional, and financial well-being Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
