Senior Manager, People Partner
About the role
The Senior Manager, People Partner will serve as a strategic advisor to the Richmond site leadership on people strategy, organizational health, and workforce risk. They will enable People Leaders through coaching and guidance on complex people topics, collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to operationalize workforce plans, and own local people governance.
Responsibilities
- Enable People Leaders through coaching and guidance on complex people topics, including organizational change, policy interpretation, and leader effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to operationalize workforce plans, ensuring timely execution of headcount actions and providing real-time insight on capacity, risk, and execution readiness.
- Own local people governance for the Richmond site, ensuring compliant, consistent application of HR policies, standards, and approved local exceptions.
- Advance the local associate experience through listening channels and people analytics to set priorities and guide decisions.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required; 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience required; MBA or master’s degree preferred.
- Broad HR generalist expertise, including employee relations, compliance, talent, and engagement, with the ability to independently translate global standards into locally compliant practices.
- Skilled in coaching and influencing People Leaders on sensitive matters and driving adoption of modern HR operating practices, including self-service and case management.
- Continuous improvement and process oriented, with familiarity applying lean principles, structured problem solving, and people data/associate insights to Human Resources in a measurable and sustainable way.
Qualifications
- Track record leading local HR projects and change initiatives with moderate-to-high complexity, delivering measurable improvements to the associate experience.
- Experience operating in a complex, matrixed, and global organization.
- Experience in regulated environments, managing HR governance (legal entity, audit/regulatory, crisis response) with high confidentiality and integrity.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to influence and coach leaders.
- Experience with HRIS systems and compliance requirements.

Pay
The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 – $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
Schedule
This position is full-time and based on-site in Richmond, IL.
