Hybrid$120k–$180k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections only if content present. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must include headings:

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to parse the job description and extract sections. We have a job summary: "Senior Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting acts as a leader within the AAO group..." That's about the role. Then "Job Duties" with many bullet-like paragraphs. We need to turn into list items under Responsibilities. Then "Supervisory Responsibilities" maybe part of Responsibilities. Then "Education Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:" includes Education, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. We need to split into sections: Education, Qualifications, Skills, maybe Requirements. We have "Experience" etc. Those are qualifications/requirements. We have "License/Certifications", "Software", "Language", "Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities". Those are skills/qualifications. We have "Individual salaries that are offered..." includes Pay range: National Range: $120,000 - $180,000 Maryland Ra (cut off). So we have Pay info: $120k-$180k. Also mention geography factor. We'll include Pay section. We have no explicit Benefits or Schedule. So we should not create those sections. We need to avoid filler like "N/A". Language N/A should be omitted. We need to preserve all substantive info, not invent. We need to remove boilerplate like EEO etc. Not present. We need to output only HTML fragment. Let's structure:

    About the role

    ... (job summary)

    Responsibilities

    • ... each duty
    • ...
We need to break duties into list items. The duties are long paragraphs; we can split by sentences or logical chunks. Probably each bullet corresponds to a major duty area: Client Service Delivery, Business Development, Developing Others, Project Management, Supervisory Responsibilities, Other duties as required. We'll create list items for each. We need to capture all content. Let's extract the duties text from "Job Duties" heading to before "Supervisory Responsibilities". Actually "Job Duties" includes many paragraphs. Then after that there is "Supervisory Responsibilities". We'll treat Supervisory Responsibilities as part of Responsibilities maybe separate? Could be its own subsection but we only have h3 headings allowed; we could make a separate h3 for Supervisory Responsibilities but that's not in allowed list? The allowed list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. It didn't list Supervisory Responsibilities separately, but we can include under Responsibilities. Thus we will combine all duties under Responsibilities. Now for Education/Qualifications etc. We have "Education Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:" then bullet list: Bachelor’s degree..., MBA..., Experience..., etc. We can split into sections: Education, Qualifications (maybe combine), Skills. But we have allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can put education under Qualifications or Requirements. Probably Qualifications. We have "Experience Eight (8) or more years..." etc. Those are requirements. We have "License/Certifications CPA certification, preferred" etc. That's qualifications. We have "Software Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite..." etc. That's skills. We have "Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities" list of skills. Thus we can have:

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR equivalent experience, required
    • MBA or other relevant advanced degree (Masters in Accountancy), preferred
    • Eight (8) or more years of experience performing general accounting transactions and functions, required
    • Four (4) or more years of supervisory experience, required
    • Consultative or business advisory experience required
    • Experience working with outsourced and/or delivery center operations, preferred
    • CPA certification, preferred

    Skills

    • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required
    • Experience utilizing industry standard accounting software and BDODrive platform software such as Intuit’s QuickBooks Online (QBO), Microsoft NAV and Bill.com, preferred
    • Prior experience utilizing industry recognized accounting research tools, preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Fully understands the finance and accounting functions generally performed by a business (e.g. sales, purchasing, A/R, etc.) and common best practices/processes for how they operate, as well as how they interact; understands other business imperatives/functions (e.g. data security, internal controls, etc.) and how they can affect the finance and accounting functions; uses this knowledge to analyze the current structure of a client and identify what services or processes may be inefficient or missing and where we can add value, as well as advise on best practices for their overall financial ecosystem
    • Ability to present well in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings; presents well to all levels of management, internally and with clients; projects confidence and expertise; communicates in a clear and concise manner that emphasizes key points; persuades others to their points of view; self-aware – knows when an approach is not working and can change course immediately
    • Strong analytical and research skills
    • GAAP knowledge, financial statement presentation, and report writing
    • Strong organizational skills especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
    • Proven ability to lead a team in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while focusing on quality, customer satisfaction and service delivery
    • Able to direct and prioritize the team to successfully execute multiple tasks
    • Ability to act as the primary contact and provide an executive presence on engagements
    • Capable of effectively managing a team of professionals and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel
    • Interacts effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, including the Business Development team; demonstrates the capability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
    • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
    Now Pay:

    Pay

National Range: $120,000 - $180,000 (salary determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and geography)

We might also mention Maryland Ra (incomplete). We'll ignore incomplete. Now About the role: Use the job summary paragraph(s). The text: "Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting acts as a leader within the AAO group and will be tasked with building a robust AAO practice. The Senior Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and supervising the work products of other professionals on the client relationship team; developing new business and working with the business development and marketing teams as opportunities move through the pursuit process; mentoring and developing the interpersonal and technical skills of the other client relationship team members. The individual in this role will responsibly manage the AAO practice through mitigating risk and managing the financial performance of their respective client portfolio." We'll put that in

. Now Responsibilities: need to list all duties from Job Duties and Supervisory Responsibilities and Other duties as required. Let's extract duties paragraphs. From "Job Duties" heading to before "Supervisory Responsibilities". The content is long; we need to break into sensible list items. We can create list items for each major duty area: - Client Service Delivery (manages full-life cycle, technical expertise, technology packages, discovery meetings, designs integrated solutions, determines cost, formulates recommendations, periodically reviews solutions, manages conflict, supports change management, gathers/reviews information, understands tax planning, etc.) - Business Development (supports AAO Leadership with business development strategies, builds sales pipeline, refines solutions into proposals, evaluates clients for acceptance, develops statements of work, develops understanding of industry groups, participates in trade groups, identifies cross-sell opportunities, explains Advisory service offerings, gains understanding of BDO Alliance and BRN Network firms) - Developing Others (fosters culture of change/accountability, ensures training on analytics/forecasting, provides training on software/processes, evaluates performance and assists in goal development, drives recruiting and onboarding, serves as resource for team with in-depth knowledge) - Project Management (creates work plan, bills engagements, aware of practice P&L, accurately scopes projects, oversees client satisfaction, reviews engagement economics for KPIs) - Supervisory Responsibilities (supervises day-to-day workload, reviews final work products, acts as Career Advisor) - Other duties as required (just mention) We'll create list items for each. We need to preserve all substantive info; we can't omit details. But we can combine into list items that contain multiple sentences. Let's craft each

  • with the detailed text. We'll need to be careful not to lose any detail. Let's copy the duties text and split. I'll extract the duties text from the provided snippet. "Job Duties Client Service Delivery Manages the full-life cycle of all assigned engagements by providing technical expertise in all areas within the finance and accounting function. Understands the technology packages clients are using to support their accounting/finance functions; describes the major functions each system performs, and knows how the system performs those functions; explains the purpose and value of system functions that a client may not be using; identifies when a client is not using a technology package in a proper or efficient manner; learns new technology quickly, understands the essence of technologies, how they can be used, how they interact with other technologies and business functions, what the best methods/benefits are for using them, and applies these technologies to an engagement; actively explores what technologies are coming next and why, and how that applies to clients Facilitates effective discovery meetings with clients; uses open ended questions to identify what their objectives are, what financial information they value for management/decision making and why; creates a map of their current internal finance and accounting structure; looks for root causes and does not take information at face value; understands the complexity that can lie behind data Designs integrated solutions that respond to the specific situation; open to new ideas and solutions, and avoids “locking-in” to a single solution; knows BDO well enough internally to identify when services outside of AAO should be included and describes what these services achieve and how they operate; outlines the solution in a concise document and vets it internally with their leaders and other BDO stakeholders Accurately determines the cost of building a client solution; calculates the benefit to a client in dollar terms of the solution, using the pricing process; compares the differences between the perspectives, and if there is sufficient margin in between (given our confidence in our calculations) to have a profitable engagement, proposes a fixed fee based on current scope for review by leadership Formulates recommendations to client leadership on technical accounting issues, financial accounting policies and procedures and financial management issues; educates clients on how their finance and accounting needs will evolve as their business grows; helps clients identify next steps and persuades the client to value those unperceived needs; identifies what needs are critical versus what are not; looks at the business of the client holistically Periodically reviews solutions with their clients to determine if it is still the right solution for the current state of the business; develops a compelling future vision for a client; communicates in such a way as to inspire clients to take the journey towards that positive future Assertively manages conflict; uses negotiation techniques to drive difficult agreements between opposing parties
