Senior Manager, OTTAVA Communications

About the role

We’re seeking a forward-thinking, results-oriented communications leader who excels at execution and strategic collaboration to help shape the future of surgical robotics and digital surgery business. The Senior Manager, OTTAVA Communications will sit out of our Santa Clara, CA office location on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic communications programs that drive business outcomes
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to elevate the innovation story across surgical robotics and advanced surgical technologies for Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s Surgery business
• Bring together R&D, clinical, medical, and business milestones to inform communications activations
• Build a deep understanding of surgery, technology development, clinical and medical data, and market opportunities that will inform an integrated global communications plan

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing communications, public affairs, or related fields
• Demonstrated experience creating high-quality written and visual content across multiple formats
• Experience working cross-functionally with matrixed teams and managing complex workflows

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with digital, social, and multimedia communication platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence without authority

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $142,000.00 - $244,950.00

Schedule

This role will be required to work on a hybrid work schedule.
