About the role
The Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud Fusion Technical Services leads the technical delivery team responsible for building, integrating, and sustaining the organization’s Oracle Cloud Fusion platform. Operating across HCM, Payroll, ERP, EPM, and PPM modules, this leader directs a team of 4-6 engineers who design and deliver Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations, Visual Builder Studio (VBS) applications, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL loaders, advanced OTBI/BIP reporting, and related technical solutions.
Responsibilities

Leads end-to-end technical delivery across Oracle Cloud Fusion modules including HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent), ERP (GL, AP, AR, Procurement), EPM, and PPM.

Architects, reviews, and governs solutions for OIC integrations, VBS applications, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL data loaders, REST/SOAP API consumption, OTBI and BIP/BI Publisher reports, and Fast Formulas.

Establishes and enforces technical standards, design patterns, and reusable frameworks across the engineering team.

Provides technical oversight and escalation support for complex incidents, integration failures, and quarterly Oracle update cycles.

Promotes modern software engineering disciplines including CI/CD pipeline automation, Git-based version control (branching strategies, pull requests, code review), and infrastructure-as-code practices where applicable.

Drives adoption of automated testing frameworks for integrations and reports, reducing regression risk during patch cycles and quarterly Oracle releases.

Defines and governs the team’s development lifecycle; from requirements intake through design, build, test, and deployment in a structured, repeatable way.

Serves as the primary technical counterpart to the HR Information Services and Accounting Information Services teams, translating functional requirements into engineered technical solutions.

Engages with business stakeholders, functional leads, and vendor partners to align on priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.

Participates in quarterly Oracle release reviews, coordinating impact assessment and remediation planning across functional and technical teams.

Communicates technical risks, progress, and decisions clearly to Enterprise Platforms Senior Director.

Manages, mentors, and develops a team of Oracle Cloud engineers, setting clear performance expectations and conducting regular 1:1s and annual reviews.

Identifies skill gaps within the team and builds structured upskilling plans aligned to platform needs.

Fosters a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and shared ownership of quality and delivery outcomes.

Oversees workload distribution across engineers, balancing project delivery with break-fix and operational support responsibilities.
Qualifications

Deep proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC); design, build, monitoring, and error handling of integrations across REST and SOAP-based endpoints.

Demonstrated experience with HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL data loaders, and HCM Connect framework.

Practical experience with Visual Builder Studio (VBS) application development.

Proficiency with Git; branching models, pull requests, merge strategies, and code review practices in a team engineering environment.

Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent) and automated testing frameworks.

Demonstrated experience leading Agile delivery teams; backlog management, sprint ceremonies, velocity tracking.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion) in a technical capacity, including substantial work in two or more of: HCM, Payroll, OTL, ERP, EPM, PPM.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) familiarity or certification.

Knowledge of Fast Formula authoring for Payroll, Absence, or Benefits.

Oracle Cloud certification(s) in any relevant module or integration track.

Experience operating within a managed services model alongside a partner such as Accenture, Deloitte, or similar.

Healthcare industry experience, particularly in multi-specialty physician group or hospital system environments.

Exposure to Oracle Fusion Security (data roles, job roles, duty roles) and its intersection with technical development.
