Resource Commercial Real Estate is a tenant-focused boutique advisory firm based in San Francisco, CA, helping clients make informed workplace and real estate decisions. The firm combines consulting experience with specialized tenant advisory, working as an extension of clients’ teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing initiatives, business strategy work, and assigned client accounts, keeping next actions, owners, and deadlines clear.
  • Support the co-founders with business planning, strategic initiatives, and execution.
  • Follow through with clients, local brokers, landlords, and vendors; resolve routine issues and escalate decisions with context and a recommendation.
  • Coordinate surveys, tours, proposals, transaction documents, and client updates; check accuracy and completeness before delivery.
  • Keep lease milestones, commission agreements, and closing records current through documented closeout.
  • Prepare invoice packages and commission documentation with the accounting team; track receivables and follow up on missing inputs and approved collection actions.
  • Own an agreed marketing calendar for campaigns, newsletters, deal announcements, and market materials. Brief specialists, edit deliverables, and move approved content through distribution.
  • Support prospecting with targeted lists, prepared materials, CRM records, and timely routing of responses to an advisor.
  • Run a short weekly review of priorities, deadlines, and blocked work; surface capacity conflicts early and follow decisions through to completion.
  • Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows for document review, spreadsheet analysis, reporting, CRM maintenance, and marketing production. Test improvements, keep templates current, and document effective methods.

Requirements

  • Ownership of brokerage operations, transaction coordination, or comparable client service workflows in a professional services firm.
  • Understanding of how transactions move from engagement through documentation, invoicing, payment tracking, and closeout.
  • Initiative, independent follow-through, sound judgment, and clear written client communication.
  • Comfort building credibility with clients and partners, including by phone, while managing competing priorities and protecting deadlines.
  • Confidence with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, CRM, billing, and campaign tools.
  • Advanced hands-on fluency with ChatGPT Work, Codex, Claude Code, or comparable AI agents. Ability to provide the right context, direct multi-step work, and use agent-generated scripts or automations to complete real operational tasks.
  • A habit of checking AI outputs against source documents and calculations, identifying unsupported claims, and correcting errors. Must be ready to demonstrate a completed workflow in a practical hiring exercise and explain checks and time saved.
  • Alignment with company values: Integrity, Exceptional Support, One Team Mentality, Power in Perspective, and Future-Focused.

About the role

You’ll partner closely with both founders, with one accountable manager and one agreed set of priorities. You’ll begin with a defined portfolio and recurring workflows, then expand scope as capacity and results are demonstrated. Founders retain client strategy, negotiation decisions, and commercial approvals; you own execution within agreed authority.

In the first 30 days, you’ll establish account priorities, deadlines, and an operating cadence. By 90 days, you’ll run assigned workflows reliably, deliver the agreed marketing cadence, and show measurable improvements in turnaround time with documented accuracy checks.

Benefits

  • Help shape how a boutique advisory firm operates in the AI era, combining human judgment, trusted relationships, and practical AI to deliver better client outcomes.
  • Work closely with founders and a collaborative team that supports learning and professional growth.
  • Environment that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
